Hello friends, I hope you are all well. I am also well because of the infinite mercy of God. Once again, I come to you to participate in this amazing topic of the second week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge. Through today's challenge, I will share with you about The Animals (Mascot).
What is the type of your animal (pets/wild animals, etc.)
My type of animal is wild animal and that is tiger. Another name of it is most common to the people of Bangladesh that is Royal Bengal Tiger. We are taught about it in primary school science books because it is our national animal.
I have seen tigers live very few times. Every time I have been to the zoo, I met tigers. But I have seen on TV how it roams in the forest and collects its food. I love its roar and as a child I used to try to roar like it with my own throat.

The Royal Bengal Tiger is a species of Panthera family. It is found in our country only mangrove forest shundarban which is located in the southern part of Bangladesh. But the sad thing is that its species is almost disappearing day by day.
We all know tigers are carnivores. But as far as I know the tiger used to hunt deer as its food. But due to the decrease of deer, there is a change in the ecology and gradually the number of tigers decreases. Currently there are very few tigers in sundorban apart from zoos for which our government is taking various initiatives to protect the species.
Are these animals also found in other countries?
The Royal Bengal Tiger is a subspecies of tigers. It lives in the Sundarbans mangrove forests of Bangladesh and India. However, this species of tiger has been found in some other countries of South Asia including Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar. So it can be said that it is available in different countries.
What is the animal mascot used for (sports club, country, etc)
Royal Bengal Tiger has been used since many years as the mascot of various cultural festivals and national cricket team of our country.

Pahela Boishakh is the first day of Bengali calendar. This morning Bengali people hold a rally which is called Mangalshubhayatra. The people of our country celebrate the festival with various mascots and festoons of the Royal Bengal Tiger in this rally.
Royal Bengal Tiger is used in the official logo of Bangladesh Cricket Team. Every player of the national cricket team is called and cheered by the fans as Tiger. This animal mascot is used in stadiums and various sports programs of our country.
Mention its characteristics and philosophy so that it becomes a mascot
The Royal Bengal Tiger has certain characteristics and visions that lead to its use as a mascot. Tigers of this species are mostly yellow in color and have striped spots on their body. It is a mammal with two legs, two paws ,a tail, two eyes and smooth back. These were some of its general features.
The people of our country love the tiger the most for its roar. Its roar scared other forest animals. In the same way, the people of our country roared like a tiger against the Invading forces in 1952 for the language and in 1971 for the country and liberated our country. This is why its mascot is used in the official logo of our national cricket team and in cultural events to symbolize the bravery of our forefathers.

@ripon0630, The Bengal tiger is an imposing and beautiful animal, plus it is very intelligent.
Too bad that its population has decreased, due to hunting and the expansion of populations, thus reducing its natural habitat.
It is good that in your country they recognize the importance of this feline, in addition to using it as a mascot in many sports activities in Bangladesh.
