“Steemit Engagement Challenge S11-W3| My favorites fable”

Hello friends and family,accept greetings from my mother-land country Cameroon. Welcome to my own blog today, as I share my own experience on This given contest. Week3 Steemit Engagement challenge in Steem Animals titled “My favorite fable”.

Growing up as kids or as parents now we enjoyed listening to a alots of stories fables share to us kids by our parent.These stories fable have impacted our kids because at the end , there is always a lesson to learn.Teaching your kids to pick something positive from the story.It’s was a pleasure listening stories fable’s from my parents .I will be sharing my thoughts of the most interesting fable and favorite about animals my parents taught me which one amongst is the tortoise and the bird. Focused the guided questions below 👇.

My favorite fable is “Tortoise and the bird” . It’s one my favorite fable stories because my father made me to understand in life it good to be good, to people, kind, forgiving and not to be geedy. Once upon a time, there lived a tortoise and the bird in a friendly environment on earth.The tortoise and bird were closed friends .One day there were invited for a party in heaven, since the tortoise couldn’t fly like the bird .The tortoise pleaded with the bird to allow used the bird feathers and fly together to heaven to attend the party.Since the tortoise could only move and can’t fly.

The bird was so kind to the friend to accept the tortoise will be place on his feathers so that fly can and attend the party in heaven.On that faithful day of the party in heaven, the tortoise changed the name to t”Everyone”🤣 .Insisted to the bird if anyone ask his name .The bird should say everyone.

While in the party in heaven there was a lot of drinks and foods but since they already considered the tortoise and bird as friends .They Will came and offer foods and drinks to them and say it’s for everyone.The tortoise consumed everything alone without giving the bird🤣.That the reason the tortoise changed the name to everyone because he never wanted to share with the tortoise.

The bird left from the party in heaven, very angrily because the tortoise ate all the food s and drinks offered to them alone .The bird refused to carry the tortoise on feathers and fly back to earth.Later, the tortoise pleaded with the bird since he has refused to fly him back home .When the bird arrived home, he should try and informed his parents put on a matrass outside .So that he can fall from heaven onthe earth on the matrass.Since it’s impossible for tortoise fly and was solely depending on the bird to return back home.

The bird with that anger told the tortoise parent.Instead that, the tortoise have said there should put a matrass outside in front of the house with knives,cutlass and arrows.The tortoise felt down from heaven on the matrass on earth and sustained many injuries .It was concluded it was reason whyuptil today the tortoise is always having a cracked body.This was because of the injuries the tortoise sustained on earth while of back from the party in heaven.

Yes of course this fairy tale Tortoise and the bird .Taught me a lot of things when I was still a kidsWhen my father told me about this particular fairytale.He made understand the tortoise was ungrateful , not kindhearted and a greedy person.Despite the help offered to the tortoise by the bird, The tortoise wanted everything for himself with caring for the friend who helped him and carry him on his feathers to heaven for a party.Moreover, I learned that when you do good to people, In return to they will always treat you well.

This story also made me to understand, in life is good to be kind and caring to people around you .Self interest is not good when you are living with your family and friends around you.I believes “the evil that men do live after them”.You do good you for yourself, you bad you do it for yourself in return.At the same time we should try forgive others.

I got the opportunity to know most of fables from my father.Also reading story books .Below are some of the fables I know.

• The mouse and the tortoise

Most of these stories are still on my memory lane because I learned a lot and gained knowledge from them.Moral value and ethical behaviors are very important to purchase when you live with people .Never be greedy but always learn to share and be kind .This inspiration taken from this fable “The greedy Dog”.Life is too simple to complicate .

As a parents , I always love to tell my kids many fables like The greedy dog . I made them to understand it’s good to be kind,forgiving, respectful and forgiving. They always be thankful to any little thing someone has done for them life .All is not about yourself they should always learn to share with people around them.
