Greetings to you all fellow Steemians, it is my pleasure to participate in this Contests of Healthy Drink Recipe. The name of my drink is Melonies Fruita. The ingredients are: Water Melon, Golden Melon, Pineapple and Lemon.
PREPARATIONS:
The first thing is to buy your ingredients from a fruit market near you.
After the purchase, the next step is washing of your fruits. Use little detergent and mix with salt then use sponge to wash them. This will not only make the fruits clean but will also kill the germs since you are not going to cook your fruits. Wash thoroughly in fresh clean water after rinsing then keep them in a clean bow.
Wash your fruit blender and cutlaries that will be used during the process of preparations. You will also need a clean flat tray .
STEP 1
Take the Pineapple and peel off the outer skin layers. Separate it from the fruit flesh and cut them to desired pieces.
STEP 2
The Golden melon has a smooth surface. Peel off the outer skin to allow for easy blending although the outer skin can be eaten together with the fruit if you are not blending it.
Then cut to desired sizes and remove the seeds.
Wash it again so it will be free of any seeds.
Its advisable to chop them to smaller pieces since am using a manual blender for easy crushing. Also separate the seeds from the fruit and wash them thoroughly and keep.
STEP 3
The Watermelon should be cut into 2 halves first so you check it to be sure it has not spoiled or rotten inside.
After that, then cut them to different slices and remove the seeds.
For the purpose of Melonies Fruita, the seeds are not needed. Then peel off the outer skin. The skin and seeds can also be eaten together if you are not blending them for a juice drink.
STEP 4
I am using only 1 Lemon for this tasty drink. When you cut it into 2, take a closer look at the halves, what does it resemble?
Does it not look like the heart? Lemons are also the heart rich food. It can also help you to loose weight and its excellent for digestive health. Lemons contain Vitamin C, Fiber and other beneficial plant compounds that helps to maintain good health.
Peel off the outer skin and remove the seeds.

STEP 5
The blending processing. Start adding them to your blender and gently squeeze out the juice water, That is what we need to produce our delicious Melonies Fruita.
The final process is the drink. You can see our colourful mix. Very delicious and nutritious fruit drink.

Someone might ask - what about all the peelings of the fruits - the outer skin and their seeds, are we throwing them away to the dustbin? The answer is No. I am going to utililize everything. The seeds will be planted so in the next 6 to 8 months am going to harvest my watermelon fruits and the Golden melon. The Pineapple will take between the next 12 months to 2 years depending on how fertile the soil is before it start to produce. The other peelings will be used to feed my goats. There is no wastage with nature.
