What a privilege it is to serve Jehovah, the only true God. He has entrusted ordinary people like me with the honor of being His followers and sharing the good news with individuals from all walks of life. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I consider this a lifelong opportunity.

On our way to declare the goodnews

During our recent circuit week, I enthusiastically participated in declaring the good news. After two successful days, Day 1 Day 2. Yesterday, day 3, proved to be just as fruitful. I'd like to share highlights from yesterday's field service experience through my diary. Stay tuned!!!🍿

I started my day at 5:45 a.m. with a refreshing 15-minute workout, consisting of push-ups and abdominal exercises. Afterwards, I joined my family for our morning scripture study and prayer. Following breakfast, I got dressed and headed to the Kingdom Hall, arriving at 8:53 a.m., just in time for the 9 a.m. instructions and guidance for the day's field service.

Picking up magazines we'll be using for preaching

Following the instructions and guidance from our circuit overseer on how to confidently approach individuals at home and teach them the Bible in a clear and understandable way, we concluded with a prayer led by one of our elders. We went to the store to pickup the magazines we'll be using for preaching, and we were then paired up with companions, and once everyone had a partner, we set out from the Kingdom Hall, ready to put our faith into action.

On our way to the designated territory

As we left the Kingdom Hall, our group, accompanied by our circuit overseer, marched together to the assigned territory. Although the distance was considerable, our spirits remained high. We were, after all, engaging in a joyful work, and this was evident in the smiles on our faces and the warm, uplifting conversations we shared along the way. Upon arriving at the territory after a 20-minute walk, we dispersed to various streets, and the declaration of the good news began.

That's my companion preaching

At the first house, we met a young lady who was busy cooking, but she graciously took a moment to listen to our message. She posed an intriguing question: "How many people will go to heaven?" We responded by referencing Revelation 14:1, explaining that 144,000 individuals will be taken from the earth to join Jesus in heaven and rule alongside him. She was delighted and satisfied with the answer. Due to her cooking commitments, she invited us to return another time, and we gladly accepted.

Taking a break

As we left the young lady's house, we realized that some members of our group were still engaged in conversations elsewhere. We decided to take a brief break and wait for them to rejoin us. The territory we were covering was relatively small, with only a few houses. While waiting, we took the opportunity to engage in uplifting and meaningful conversations that boosted our spirits and reinforced our sense of team spirit.

Walking with my new companion

When the rest of the group rejoined us, I was saddened to learn that my female companion had to stop due to health issues. We quickly arranged for her to return home by bike. I was then paired with a new companion, a male friend. We had a wonderful time declaring the good news together. Yesterday was truly a memorable day. Although we visited only a few houses due to the territory's layout, I'm grateful that we met people with open hearts who were receptive to the truth.

Making arrangements for Bible study

We concluded our house-to-house witnessing by 11 a.m. and made arrangements for return visits and Bible studies. My companion and I parted ways, and I spent the remainder of the day studying the Bible with three of my students. Meanwhile, my companion studied with one of his own students. I felt a deep sense of joy and fulfillment, knowing that I had accomplished my task for the day.

There's no greater joy than serving the only true God, Jehovah, with the assurance that my efforts won't go unrewarded, both now and in the future. With tomorrow marking our final day of witnessing and Bible study in the neighborhood, I'm eagerly looking forward to participating and making the most of this opportunity. Goodnight☪️
