Steemit Engagement Challenge - S6W3 : "if I was Steemcurator01

Hello everyone, how are you doing?, I welcome you to the season 6 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge, and here we are in the week 3.

Today, I will be participating in the RECREATIVE STEEM Community to discuss the Topic: "what if I was Steemcurator01".

This is a great topic discussion as it brings the awareness of what individuals might have done differently if they were to be the one in charge of the SC01 account, I have read couple of interesting entries and this has shown that the SC01 is already doing a great job and many agreed with their current line of action, here is my input to the discussion as well, Happy Reading!!.

What would you do if you were the operator of the steemcurator01 account?

---

This is a tough question that comes with a tough imagination, assuming I am the user in charge of the SC01 account, I will try as much as possible to make sure user all over the platform are supported and their effort is appreciated, this could come as a difficult task for me, but I could dedicate my full time to this in order to witness quality promotion on the platform.

This is not a simple task, I have seen the same task given to the community curators which are numbers of seven individual, and yet they skip some post simply because it is hard to navigate over 100's of post, and those are 7 individuals, now assuming such role is given to a single user, it's definitely not an easy task, it is draining, and required full efforts.

The things I would rather focus on is to give votes to those who have the reputation of delivering a top contents on the platform, users who I have witnessed deliver quality contents that add values to the platform, and as well support more new comers.

What would be your criteria for selecting an author's publication and rewarding it?

The type of contents I would refer to as masterpiece are the contents that are filled with originality, I love author's who published with full dedication, you can easily tell the difference between an ordinary article and a quality one, the quality ones takes time, it shows the users really pour all there energy to make it unique and this is the kind of articles I would have in my selection for reward.

Originality matters, I would be rewarding content that are unique, content that are Steem exclusive, for such content that include a user original photos and the user must have shown participation the discussion of the particular post they are sharing, that is what I consider originality and I would focus more on such content and give it the reward it deserves.

What type of content would you dedicate more percentage of vote to it?

The type of content that I believe should get more vote percentage are the contents filled with originality, content such as diary game and others. The important part of this is that, they should add values to the platform, from the diary game post shared, it should show a particular reason, what have you learned from the day?, what is different that you are telling us? , Diary game articles that are filled with originality will be considered for more voting percentage, and they should also have quality pictures as well, which means the user has dedicate their time to prepare to share the content, and in return, they shall be rewarded largely.

Learn with stem contents - This is also another type of contents I will dedicate more voting percentage to, it's hard to see users sharing particular post on learnwithsteem these days, they could be science or technology relating topics, topics that user can learn something unique from, and provided this has gain enough audience, then I will consider giving more voting percentage to such.

Hot News - Steemit is a social media channel, and the influence of social media is to share interesting articles and deliver top news contents, I would give more voting percentage to this as well, especially to users who had a first hand experience with the particular news they are sharing, what happened in the environment? What led to it? this type of contents should be filled with uniqueness and in return I will dedicate more voting percentage to such contents as well.

How would you ensure that the potential of the curated account is maximized?

To do this, I would have to be familiar with the use of Steemworld tools to monitor the voting mana, and the best way for this is to ensure that the upvotes are shared in multiple timeframe, I will dedicate a time frame for a particular number of upvotes , then watch the voting mana to recharge a little bit before I continue.

The most important to watch is to ensure that the voting Mana never goes below 80% , splitting the upvoting is still the best chance of watching this, then in the best case scenario, I could be upvoting in 3 timeframe a day, which within this timeframes will involve a 4 hours difference, the little time difference would have given the account to recharge by +5% or more.

How many people would operate the account to make it work properly?

The upvoting task of the SC01 account comes with a difficult tasks, it's difficult in selecting the best amongst 100's of content, so it's be better if I'm to share this task among three operators.

I have highlighted above that it will be better if the account is upvoting three times a day with 4 hours differences, with this time could give each of the operators enough time to identify and select the post they had consider for upvoting, so I believe it will be better if the operation is share between three individuals due to it difficult task of selecting article for upvoting .

---

Nope, I wouldn't disclose my identity rather prefer to stay anonymous, been an SC01 is like been the world superstar where every steps and actions you take will be considered been biased or choosing favoritism.

Identity disclosure of this could pose difficult, people would always accuse the user of giving more support to others based on their region, So to avoid this unnecessary complications, I would rather stay anonymous and carry out the curating task effectively.

Here comes the conclusion of my topic on how I had carry out the task If I were to be SC01, the SC01 account is the biggest among the steemcurators account, it's an account that has given more support to newbies on the platform, so handling this comes with a great responsibility so as not to be accused of favoritism, and I have also highlighted some contents I would consider giving more voting power to as well.
