In your own words, what does Child Slavery mean and what are its most common manifestations?

Child Slavery in my own opinion is when a child is been force into some kind of labor beyond his age grade which are detrimental to their health as a result of another person's gain or profit.

The manifestation of child slavery are most common at private homes for domestic purposes as house-helps, factories, bakeries, hawking, bars, agriculture, constructions as well as other private economy.

Children are being forced to be engaged in different kinds of activities in the above mentioned places which is seriously exploiting them with a lot of negative impact. The manifestation of Child slavery can be seeing in different forms which includes forced labour.

Forced labor has its negative impact in the live of children and should be highly discouraged. Slavery in a general parlance can be viewed as a state where the free will of a person is loss and is being coerce through threatenings or violence.

When a child's free will is suppressed by the instrumentality of violence or threat it affects him/her psychologically which can be viewed as an abuse.

Some of this children are forced into engaging in hazardous work like in the case of trafficking. Force to work with dangerous substance like toxic chemicals which in turn can be very dangerous to their health now or in the future.

Force labour has great impact in denying the child on any form of formal education thereby causing great limitations on the path of the child's destiny. It denies the children of their childhoods and hindering their access to education and also making them to live there life by chance without pursuing personal goals or vision.

What strategies do you consider effective to eradicate forced child labor?

1. Creating governmental agencies or organizations that are to be saddled with the responsibilities of combating against child labor in both rural and urban areas with heavy sanction on defaulters.

2. Enactment and implementation or enforcement of national Child law for the purpose of protecting the minors from every form of force labour.

3. Empowering their parents by boosting their incomes which will enable them to adequately cater for their children's social and general needs, thereby getting rid of every factor that may necessited them to work.

4. Creating awareness or educating the masses on the importance of child education and also creating available and affordable means to even the common man's child.

Do you think it is fundamental for children to have the freedom to fully develop and fulfill their dreams? Explain your answer.

Yes!
There's nothing more significant to a child than him being allowed the freedom to fully developed and fulfilll his dreams. Children should not be forced into becoming what they don't want to be but rather allowed to on their own way determine or discover their calling, gift as well as areas of interest and strength by themselves.

When this is successfully achieved, the best of a child on his path of destiny can be fully actualized. Not just allowing them the freedom to fully developed their dreams but to also support them to fulfill it.
