Hi Steemians,

I am honored to participate in the final contest of this ninth season of the Steemit Engagement Challenge organized by the RECREATIVE STEEM Community, which addresses the main challenge theme, a topic I will be participating in through two challenges that I quote the events as they are. I wish you a good read.

My first challenge:

This is a 21 day challenge based on a whole vegan diet that appeared on a TV show for a while, during that time I had read articles about the vegan diet and might have -be thought to experiment.

The important thing is that I made the decision and the plan was as follows…. A full month of vegan food only, on top of not eating any processed foods, absolutely no sugar, no oil, no ghee….

Results: I broke the diet for over a year and a half because I was stubborn, lost 12 pounds of my weight and became a professional cook.

Praise be to God, I did not face the problem of nutrient deficiency, which people who follow the vegetarian diet often face, because I used to adopt fresh food straight from the ground, and I eat from time to time about a small meal of fish every month…

The terrible societal pressure is like I'm a war criminal, especially when I'm underweight, even if it's not beyond the level of health. Even my wife at the time was my fiancée. She thought I was stingy trying to persuade her not to buy meat…my mother used to say words to my side whenever she caught me turning away from meat…

About the food.. There are no restaurants that offer healthy and vegetarian food in Tunisia, except for very rare and very expensive dishes... but I used to follow the diet cheap protein. and fruits in addition to rice, oats and sesame fats and other seeds and peanuts.

I didn't buy expensive imported foods like avocados, nuts and that weird stuff... so I was the chef because I also don't use oils or ghee so no one is ready to cook those wonderful foods of mine...

The reason for the end of the challenge. With a lot of reading, I found out that the vegetarian diet is not very healthy, as some claimed it had benefits, but there were also many downsides to it...

My 2nd challenge:

The other challenge coincided with the vegetarian diet…I was like a duck, a little heavy, although I exercise and have very long stamina and nerves, but I am very weak in running walk. Almost everyone is ahead of me, so I started the challenge of running ahead of everyone….

I started running hard for 2 kilometers... Almost every time I ran after an interval, I suffered from muscle tension... Everyone was in front of me, even though I continued to exercise every every day, but everyone beat me anyway...

With time I started to increase the distances, I started to lose weight and I started to compete with a lot of fast people... Then after that I started the challenge stage is to run long distances and insist on running four or five days a week. ..suddenly 8 kilometers became for me the minimum for any race, no matter how long I stopped. Muscle tension after running is almost negligible....

I even mention my record, three laps around my village, which means, according to Google Maps, about 14 kilometers of continuous non-stop running…. Time record 30min for 8Km….

It's like when you start running among people and suddenly most of them disappear behind you. Some appear to you while you are running and then they disappear behind you…. Sometimes you find a challenger who appears from behind and quickly precedes you, but after a long or short period of time, due to your length and experience in dividing your energy, you find him withdrawing behind you and becoming behind you. and disappear. Suddenly there is only you, only you, no one to compete with, everyone is behind you, even if a person appears in front of you who becomes like a sign on a fast road Even the people you meet at the middle or at the end of your run disappear, although they are at the beginning of their run and their enthusiasm, but they quickly become behind you...

At that point, you are left with only yourself to challenge them. energy in your body that calls this state the pleasure of running... you feel an immense pleasure that pushes you to run more without realizing that you will not be able to bear the obstacles of it until after the end of the race...

Advantages: I am a feather with agile movement and muscle responses are very fast...no matter what foods I eat, I will not gain weight...

The problem is a significant loss of muscle mass and weight.vSometimes there are problems in the lower digestive system that appear for no convincing reason.. Also knee problems when running on hard pavement.

Hola querido amigo, vaya, que bueno que decidiste probar ese tipo de alimentación, ciertamente tiene sus ventajas y desventajas como todo en la vida, pero sin duda las ventajas son mayores.

La carne es muy rica y a la mayoría de las personas les gusta y la disfrutan, pero realmente le hace mucho daño a nuestro organismo ya que lo acidifica y eso siempre genera efectos negativos, y además tiene cantidades de grasas malas que no nos benefician en nada.

Creo que lo ideal seria reducir su consumo, o sencillamente tratar de solo consumir carnes blancas para aquellos que no quieren dejar de consumirlas por completo, creo que siempre hay opciones y todo está en los excesos.

Well I just found out that you've done the vegetarian diet challenge. It's not easy especially when people around you are not supportive and think you're stingy for not buying meat or the like...

Your second challenge about weight and exercise sounds very good for health.

At the end of the day, I was amazed by your story and I realised that everyone has their own challenges in life and fights for themselves.

Your challenges have been very interesting. I have never been a fully vegetarian, although I do like vegetables and healthy food. I believe that the healthiest thing is to find a balance and be able to enjoy the benefits of a varied diet, is the conclusion I have reached in my way of eating. So you're right, it's not very good to be completely vegetarian.

About running, a long time ago I was running to participate in 10 km races. And while training you feel great, there is a lot of good energy and enjoyment. Also faced with the problem that you lose a lot of weight, you have to eat very well and consume enough protein and carbohydrates to compensate for the caloric loss.
The problems of pain in the knees also have to do with the use of footwear, which must be appropriate.

I congratulate you because you are someone who seems to be tenacious with your goals and that makes it possible for you to achieve them, with a lot of patience and dedication.
