Good day steemians!
In our place, there are a group of policians who named their group as "TEAM LIBRE". In which "LIBRE" means free. They called them that ways because there platform is to offer their constituence for free. One of their great activity as team libre is to go to different barangay every friday and offer their free activities. Some of their free activities are free extracting of tooth, pet vaccine and vitamins, seedlings, lugaw, ice cream, hair salon, lawyer and a lot more. And last teachers day celebration, the team libre visited our school and offer those free items.
The good thing was the team libre was able to give notebooks and papers to all the public school in our place. Just last month, the city delivered boxes of notebooks and papers to be distributed by the students.
After receiving the notebooks from our grade leader, I then let my students line up and gave them 2 notebooks and a pad of paper.
From their faces, we can see how grateful they are. And we as well are grateful to them because they were able to see the needs of our kids. Its just small yet effort appreciated.
