INTRODUCTION

Hello to all in this beautiful community called RECREATIVE STEEM, what a topic to talk about! Being a Steemian, for about 2 years now one of the names which has the right to either make you happy or scared once you check your notifications on steemit is non other but steemcurator01. It has such an influence on the platform that no one would like to be in it's black book.

I've not been on steemiti for too long, but i made some research and found out that there was no such thing as steemcurator01 in the past. And i wonder how those who were present by then did to succeed on the platform as newbies. Without waste of our precious time and eyes I'll be answering the guiding questions in my own words and understanding. Be blessed as you read.

What would you do if you were the operator of the steemcurator01 account?

The first thing any employee does when he is employed is to read the terms and conditions of his contract. So since the account is an investment of the Steemit Inc. company it'll be important if i carefully read the rules and go by them. I also think I'll not try in anyway to use the account for my own benefits. With that in mind any form of selfishness and greed will automatically be deleted from my mind. There would be a maximum amount of error minimization because as we know, humans remain humans and are prone to errors.

Operating the account means a lot and will demand a lot of time dedicated only to the task and any other job aside from that has to be terminated. So the Laboratory technician job i have now, inorder to be 200% efficient I'll have to give all my time to the checking of plagiarism and eligibility of users to receive upvotes on their posts.

What would be your criteria for selecting an author's publication and rewarding it?

This is one of the most important questions asked by most newbies who join and are eager to grow on the platform. Most times these newly joined authorscreate amazing posts with good quality which isn't really looked upon. The criteria i would begin to put in place is to look upon the newbies who have little reputation and have a particular percentage which I'll help them gain some rewards and power up to be part of a club Status.

The coming forth of club Status has discouraged many authors who are newbies from even participating in engagement contests because they haven't had powered up anything yet. And we notice that apart from the engagement posts where steemcurator01 account can pass by any post to curate, there's only particular authors with a set kind of reputation who benefit from these votes.

To effectively make things easy, and to effectively bring the proof of Brain concept, I'll go community to community by communicating with the various MOD and CR of various communities when necessary to survey which authors are dedicated to growth and creating good content, then visit them once in a while. When a particular author receives upvotes consistently he is prone to withdrawing and even powering down. And when newbies see this their main objective also shifts to amassing SP and powering down at the end.

So I'll firstly check on the originality of the post, the creativity the consistency, the engagement on the platform and the compliance to the rules and regulations of the platform. Surprise votes on newbie's posts can also help them. I say so because it helped me when I came here in January it made me work more and more very expectant to receive votes even on my achievement 1 post.

What type of content would you dedicate more percentage of vote to it?

Looking at how the club Status implementation came in and was adopted, I'll say that we're more into creating curation accounts for each individual which will reduce power downs eventually. But I'll vote more on community projects or anything related to community projects more than voting on curation accounts. That's the first instance, where I'll prolly overlook the person's reputation. As i earlier said, most newbies come with great ideas and put them down but because they aren't in a club yet, their posts are ignored and not rewarded the way it should.

Secondly, I'll not Concentrate on diary Games a lot except it's for newbies because it's actually the easiest posts to write down. It's true that the other curation accounts do a great job already, but a curator01 upvote will be cool. So I'll check more on contents which aren't diary related and are more informative about arts, science, sports and others.

How would you ensure that the potential of the curated account is maximized?

The job of every employee is to make sure that the employer gets a return on investment on any good given to him to sell. And as Steemit Inc invested into the steemcurator01 account, it'll be important that the user makes sure that the curator rewards always keep coming in to balance the profit to the investment.

Maximizing the potential of the account is very important for it's growth and influence and also credibility. The first aspect i Look at is the Voting Power. For the little time I've used our community curation account, I've noticed how detrimental it is to leave the account idle at 100% . And to do so, I'll use the strategy we used to use while curating in our community. We never curated the new posts so fast because the posts have 7 days to expire.

Quality content curation will also greatly increase the potential. A post which is well organized and has the required amount of words (≥300), has a good amount of relevant free pictures and a good markdown will likely have the opportunity to be upvoted.

So we go to the oldest posts which suit our earlier mentioned criteria of selection and we begin from there. As we curate from oldest to newest, when the account reaches a VP of 85% minimum, we stop and wait for it to recharge for the next day and we continue. If we maintain this routine by selecting great kind of posts, the potential of the steemcurator01 account will greatly be maximized and even increased. Because as we know, the more curation rewards the more the account grows bigger.

How many people would operate the account to make it work properly?

As i earlier mentioned, the operators of this account must be "steemcurator01 exclusive" that means, they don't have any other job to do than to curate using the account. If not the chain of curation might be broken and if this first rule is respected then i believe that 7 people will be okay for the account. Where each person takes a particular day in the week to perform his or her duties.

They will surely rotate and while one person cincentrates on maybe the post quality (plagiarism, number of words and steemexclusive), then the other person receives the reportwhich contains the link to the post and the curator curates.

Would you disclose your identity or prefer anonymity?

Anonymity in every institution is very important. I just imagine a scenario where i am an African and i curate a post which is of good quality and is also from Africa, but the author who is European thinks his post is of more quality that the other. And that would bring interracial disputes and won't be good at all. The same will go if you're African and you don't curate an African content, there will be a kind of sense of entitlement and will be bad for business.

So my conclusion, every company property such as steemcurator01 account should be kept anonymous and never known by the public except by the employers. This will avoid unnecessary fights and comments and will keep everything very professional.

CONCLUSION

Being into a great post of responsibility as that of steemcurator01 demands a lot of focus and strict measures. It can be cool to be there but the pressure would be so high that it'll be tempting to abuse the account for selfish benefits. Thank you Recreative steem for this opportunity and I'll like to know how my friends @habdallah, @temitope and @syllem to tell me how they'll feel If they were Steemcurator01. I can't wait to read your posts.

hello friend, excellent publication to be the curator you have to know the regulations very well and apply them with great care and in a quality post without praise

Being a curator is not an easy job but we study and organize each publication so that it is voted for its quality.

I wish you good luck and 💕

That is very right! Thank you very much fit your comment. I appreciate

Exactly! It's gonna create a level of equilibrium in the system and cause many newbies to wake up

You put it so well that it's great to be sc01, but it's also a big pressure. It takes a lot of effort to be fair, not to be under the spell of power, not to make mistakes, and to always have a good focus. Nice to read your thoughts, good luck 🌷

Thank you very much! You're right, power has a way to lure you into it's conclaves. The pressure is really high on every side

I think the position of SC01 is very difficult, it involves a lot of work and there are always people who are unhappy with his management, it is like being president of a country, it is impossible for everyone to be happy and it is something that SC01 has to learn to live with. When I made my post on this topic, I felt overwhelmed by so much responsibility, so it's not a position I would want to have.

I think you made a good explanation of what you would do if you were SC01, I think you would do a good management.

Regards.

Oh yes, inasmuch as i would like to be SC 01, the responsibility carries a lot of stress and tenacity. Ruling a large set of people isn't really easy at

Me parece que tienes unas ideas muy buenas e interesantes que podrían plantearse para mejorar el proceso de selección de publicaciones para recibir un voto de 01 :)
