Hello dear friend, very true there are many factors that can cause people to be homeless, especially children who are the most vulnerable.
As you mention, throughout the world we can see this situation is unfortunate, because there is a lot of poverty, a lot of effort is needed to provide more shelter for street children.
It is sad to see how children have to eat and drink water from the street, it would be good to see more projects that help them and they can get out of that situation or at least have better quality food.

Por lo menos en su país el gobierno intenta hacer algo para mejorar las condiciones de esas personas, mientras que acá en mi país el gobierno se hace la vista gorda y no presta ninguna ayuda
