SEC S6W4: "The Diary Game (19/12/2022): My Dialy Experiences - Christmas function"

Dear friends,

I hope you all are celebrating this lovely season. This is the Christmas season and I was really busy with my office work all these two months. The final output of dedication and hard work is today. Our company celebrates Christmas 2022 today.
This is the most awaited day in our work life. The company offers us many events to enjoy on this day. There is a tasty buffet for lunch and we got tokens to enjoy the day.

I also got many tokens to enjoy the day. There were tokens to get presents, enjoy short eats, enjoy drinks, etc. There was a photo booth as well. So I went to the photo booth with my friends. This is my friend Biyanga. She is one of my best friends. Today there are many events to participate in. So me and my friends, first of all, went to a salon to get a simple make-up done and some others did their hair as well from the salon. It was at about 8.30 am when we reached the office ground from the salon.

Then, first of all, we had some final audits to be done and once we finished the duty of the day we started taking food and drinks from the counters. The food and drinks were issued for tokens as there were more than 4000 employees in the office. At first, we got a pack of snacks. There was a piece of cake, a roll, a cutlet, and a sandwich. As the drink we got Milo. We had breakfast and directly took part in the events. There was a competition to select the best audit team, best outfit boy/girl, best makeup etc.

While the events are going we went to take cool drinks as refreshments. I got a strawberry mocktail. with a chicken hamburger. It was served on the ground. Then we took so many photographs. It was the time of chit-chatting about our lives and having fun with our friends. You can see the photo booth is full of girls. I have a very big collection of photos of the day. I could meet my friends who work in other departments. The photo booth offers us a printed photo if we want to have. So all of us took the photos printed from the booth to memorize this lovely day.

The final event was the musical show. Many singers who are famous in Sri Lanka came to sing with the Line one band which is led by the famous singer Shane Sing. This is the final event of the day and all of us enjoyed the time dancing and singing. After this musical show, we got our Christmas presents from the Gifts counter and then we came home. As the present, all 4000+ employees got a Noritake Dinner set which is really useful and valuable.
