SEC S17W2: "Protecting children".

Hello friends, it's another week of making quality content on steemit. This week's engagement challenge is talking about protecting the children. It has been on the increase day after day how children are seen on the streets doing one thing or the other.

In your own words, what does Child Slavery mean and what are its most common manifestations?

This is a situation whereby a child is complied to do work without his or her own willing. Sometimes these children are seen doing hard work without rest hence they are not properly taken care of.
Here are some common manifestation of child slavery.

• poor hygiene. Children/child under slavery is not seen with good and neat cloths. They often look so untidy and unkept.

• Poor education. Children under slavery are not been sent to school rather they are seen harwking on the streets.

• Prone to sex exploitation. Children under slavery are exposed to the streets making them vulnerable to sex exploitation.

• Marriage early. The life of these children are so pitiable, they are weak and lay down on the road ,shades, under the bridges and even in some uncompleted buildings . Some times they are been raped in the process and this act will land them in early marriage.

How does forced labor impact the lives of children?

The impact of forced labor in the lives of children is sympathetic. It will deny them their right of expression. Right of good old days of childhood memories will be denied . They will be vulnerable to bad gangs that can lead them into drugs .
No proper education and care.

What strategies do you consider effective to eradicate forced child labor?

This is very simple, if I'm to be in charge of enforcing this strategy I will make sure woman and men are sensitized about the number of children to give birth to.
I will advise parents not to give their children out to stranger.

I will provide help line for complaints. I will encourage people to raise alarm if people are found maltreating or enslaving children.

For the fact that children are still under the care of their parents/guidance, they should have the freedom to explore and choose what is right under the law and their parents idea.

They should have the right to play when it's time ,
They should have time to make good friends.

They are created with the same feeling and features just like the adults as such they should be given some space to feel among.

Children should be given the right to choose what they want to become in future. The parents can only guide.
