I hope you are all very well, logically we can say that learning is an innate process of human beings, however, this from a natural vision, because when it comes to attending schools, high schools or universities, this does not seem to be a very pleasant task from the psychological point of view of the students.

When we learn to ride a bicycle we like it or when we learn any other activity that entertains us but when we talk about going to a physical space to obtain knowledge the same sensation is not generated in the learning process, not everyone feels the same however many children and teenagers feel boxed in within the walls of their classroom, and many of them say they do not want to study hence the question.

Is this manifestation a natural process of adaptation, or the lack of identification of the causes of their lack of motivation to study?

One of the things to which it is difficult for us to adapt when we are growing up is to assume our obligations, when we are very young we love to have fun, until we begin to study and relate to our first obligation, this adaptation process hits us all, some do it faster than others, at the beginning we start with all the desire and enthusiasm, but then, everything cools down, to the point of not performing at school, and this can happen at any level.

However, it is important that we focus on the possible causes of the demotivation of our children not wanting to study, not wanting to attend their academic facilities, not wanting anything to do with their studies, therefore, we will learn about some of these possible causes:

Lack of motivation, it is important that as parents we are very aware of the motivation of our children and children at any age, motivation is that spark that manages to keep on their desire to do their daily activities, including even those related to their entertainment, in many occasions we demand a lot to our children without giving them the necessary support in their tasks, they will feel overwhelmed, and logically, they will be locked in a shell of rejection to their school or academic learning.

Difficulty in associating with some subjects, being even more specific than in the previous point, our children may find it difficult to link with some subjects, and maybe it is not because some are easier to understand than others, but because there are topics or subjects that they do not like and this diverts their attention to the learning process, it is here our work of guidance, and make them understand that not everything we learn we necessarily have to like.

In the same way, make them see that it is not because they are not intelligent, but for reasons of taste, and that with more dedication they can get to like it, if as parents we do not master the learning area where they are having difficulty, then we can communicate it to the teacher, or also seek support with extra classes outside the classroom, since mastering the subject that they see with difficulty will give them more confidence later.

Problems at home, when we are children or teenagers we are very sensitive to family conflicts, there are even parents who include their children in their couple problems, maybe they believe that their children are not aware of their problems, and it is quite the opposite, they are very attentive to the discussions of their parents, and thus perceive when things are not going well, and this without pointing out the family abuse, towards couples and towards them.

Bullying at school, this type of phenomenon is usually very common in schools or high schools, although much work has been done in recent years, making everyone see that making fun of their peers is not right and can bring fatal consequences, this type of fact, can keep children or adolescents away from school facilities, and if we do not notice this, it can be very harmful to the psychological health of any student.

One of the main causes of student failure is attributed to bullying, we have to be very attentive to this, as this deconcentrates students subjected to this type of harassment, even this influences them outside the classroom, and in their homes, the solution is not to make them face their peers with more violence, is to talk to their peers and straighten with words and advice their bad acts.

Conclusion.

One of our main tasks is the identification of any situation that may harm the school stability of our children, in this way we are awakening in them a bond of support from us, and thus, take the essential step of awakening in them, that natural desire to learn that we human beings have, from the very moment we are born, we are their closest and constant guides, and we must always be very clear about that.

So we have to make them see that all learning is a process of adaptation, and if it is very complicated, then we have to look for and identify those causes that demotivate them and make them lose the desire to study, such as those mentioned in the previous paragraphs, and apply the necessary corrections with their consent and in the best possible way, taking into account their opinion.
