Urach Waterfall. The Urach waterfall is just 2 km outside the village of Bad Urach in the Maintal (Main Valley). The water comes from a spring on the edge of the Swabian Alb and then plunges 37m into a limestone level. It´s a pretty impressive waterfall and I did not expect something like this in germany, when I first visited it. In winter it can get so cold there that the waterfall freezes. Last happened in 2017
