... we fulfilled our first shop order and contactless delivery 🥳 in celebration of the achievement we surprised our customer with a free Purple Tie-Dye Face Covering 😎 yup that is my duty. Mel does nearly all of the sewing and ordering and I deal with the shop, inventory, packaging, delivery ... and today I started investigating shipping. Once all setup and pricing confirmed I can enable the payment processor on our site and start automatically accepting order payments. Currently using the manual confirmation and E-Transfer method as safeguard against potential errors, all seems well so far 👌

Meck Designs, started as my fiancé making herself a mask. She thought about me and eyewear. Her coworkers immediately loved it. Being as Melissa is she immediate set about making face coverings for our dear friend Chelsea and her kids, if you check our “Fashionable Faces” FB Group you can find her post. At first we did not have FB or a shop but that is where I got involved.

Mel asked me the one day “how much should I sell one for?”.

Replying; “Costing, I can do!” - Away we went.

“Money makes money” as they say. We were able to start our design with basically what Mel had left around but eventually we needed to put something in. With guilty intentions not financial at all I have encouraged her creation. When it came to questioning whether to buy that tool or piece of equipment my answer was yes before the idea even conceptualized. Knowing what creativity has done for me how dare I do anything other?

On the other hand I also know through our crypto blogging platforms that creation no matter the form needs to at least be self sustaining. EG; no point paying for software subscriptions if you have not the time to use them. With that knowledge and a very driven fiancé...
