... History, hold our Nationality, wear our flag, think about our People and all together keep our Country in my heart.

Victory day is very special for me from my childhood, coz all members of our family went to roof at 12 a.m. for celebrating the day by hoisting flags and by singing patriotic songs. Some friends and neighbours also joined us which creates a festival mood. Moreover, at day time my father helped us ( me along with my 2 brothers) to learn about our culture and history by telling war-related stories and his war time experiences.

My parents taught me about patriotism and now it is my turn. As my daughter trying to learn about colour, I introduced her with our national flag and it's green-red colour. I feel proud when she can identify the flag, ... "Ammu, potaka". 😍

This 16th December, we took our daughter outside at night to see the red and green lights as our country decorated with flags and lights so beautifully. Love u 🇧🇩.
