And today I ask myself 2 essential questions: What will the laws of the future look like? And how many books will still be in this cupboard in 30 years, so we ourselves will only manage comments digitally? 💭
That our laws and here I am talking especially about Germany (after all, I have only studied German law) should be reformed in large parts. Is it conceivable that our laws, especially the §§ 211 ff. StGB (murder paragraph) still originate from the time of the Second World War? The lawyers have also been trying to reform for years. So it remains to be seen.
Especially in civil law I ask myself the question to what extent the law of tomorrow looks like. So many contracts can be made transparent using block chain technology. Protection of confidence, which must be granted today for traffic and is still taken over by a notary, can also be granted by this.
I wonder how many more years will pass before I can forget the knowledge of our present legal system as I have studied it. Technology sets the tone, while many politicians and lawyers are still asleep today. 😴💭

Your choice is a very hard one, I know some real good lawyers and they make real good money but I prefer some more time for me to breath freely, and not sitting until 1am in the Office or held telcos with the client on the skilift at the first day of Christmas. I wish you all the best in your Job 😉
