Yes a fascinating, yet missing link in our history. Ancient ruines that make no sense how they could have been built, to aliens like the Anunnaki. The gold is a very conductive mineral, so one theory is they used it for something like that. And the ancient Sumerians seemed to come out of no where and was one of the most advanced people of the ancient world according to history and the tablets. One of the kings seemed to have ruled for 1000s of years also. Alot of questions and alot of speculations. I think the world had a major reset during the great flood and humans were more advanced then we even know today, since theybhad direct contact with higher beings gods aliens or whatever. Something very important and mysterious.

Reading about civilization itself, I came across the interpretation that the Anunnaki needed gold for the radiation that reigned on their home planet Nibiru.
