... I clicked this picture at noon and at this hour he was supposed to be in school, studying. He was supposed to go to school in a school uniform and come back to his mother's arm. This is the age for him to play with other children not to wash dishes for money. But see, how Poverty strikes peoples lives. After taking the picture I talked to him for a while. He said, his name is Siam and he has been working here for about six months. I asked why he was working instead of going to school, he said his father had died in a road accident a few years back. He, his mother and his younger sister are now in his family. The younger sister has been admitted to the school. So his sister's school expenses and family's expenses aren’t fulfilled by his mother's single income and so he is here to work. Though he seemed to have no complain about his life but this scenario is the failure of us, failure of the state, of the society.
We are sorry boy, we couldn’t give you the normal life you deserve.

Nowadays everyone running for their own life. child labour is one of the biggest problems of this south-east Asia. We always say so many NGO working for them but the problem is ..we are not working for them. Sometimes I saw so many people they are wasting food but small boys/girls are working for that food. We can only say that we need to help them but we are not helping because we are busy with our life !!! So many time I even can't help so many people because everyone has some limitation.... but one day we will help properly. Let's hope for the best.
