🗺 No empty spaces. 🌍 Every time that I got to my class as a kid I saw no empty ...

... spaces in the maps of the world.
Without a real reason that always made me feel terribly sad.. as if there’s nothing left to explore.
There are no limits to the known world.
That’s what I’ve been thinking back in the days.
And I’ve realised that I’m living as the modern day explorer.
As the late 1400, today’s explorers don’t often “make it back home”, are edgy, weirdos, misfits and outliers.
But we push the boundaries of whatever is known and whatever is possible.
I’m learning to make peace to this weird side of me, that was hard for me to accept.
I’ve always felt like I never belonged anywhere, that feeling hunted me.
If I could go back to my-child self I’d hug me and say: hey Tom don’t underestimate your struggles, those might become your best asset.
Now I’m actually thankful for it, maybe this was the exact reason that push me to explore the unexplored conceptual territories.
I don’t know really.. tomorrow morning I’ll have a call with an important business person and I have to take a much needed night of sleep.
Until the next one
Yours truly
-Tom
