Through the defening squeal, you search the apartment. It appears to be newly refurbished, containing no furniture nor possessions.
You are fortunate to find the fuse for the alarm and pop it out of its casing, ending the infernal noise.
With the apartment cleared, you know that you have no option other than to head back outside, hoping that you get away with this latest setback.
You're cautious to recheck the rest of the corridor and are relieved to see that it's all clear.

You open the door and see a zombie staring at you. It mumbles excitedly at your presence and hastily attacks you.
The zombie strikes first and hits you with all of their strength, reducing your Health by 3.
You start to fight back and land the perfect blow with your Baseball Bat reducing the zombie's Health by 10.
It's the killer blow and the fight is over.
After this battle, you feel that your luck is improving.
You feel relief to have come out of the fight relatively unscathed and prepare to continue your journey.

You then turn your attention to food...
The best you can find is a container of cold spaghetti, its intertwined strands forming a comical tangle reminiscent of a spaghetti monster which you eat hurriedly.

Having turned the apartment upside down, leaving behind a scene of complete disorder and overturned belongings, you return to the corridor to continue your adventure.
You decide to check the corridor again and are relieved to see that it's all clear.

With a sense of unease, you try to open Apartment 23, to find that the door doesn't fully open.
