The Minar of Pakistan, also known as the "Tower of Pakistan", was built with a purpose to commemorate the Lahore Resolution. The Pakistan Charter was adopted on March 23, 1940 at a meeting of the All India Muslim League. It was held in Manto Park. The nation celebrates this important occasion as Pakistan Day and the government of Pakistan celebrates it every year as a public holiday. The history of Minar-e-Pakistan is very important for any patriotic citizen of Pakistan. That is why many people visit Minar-e-Pakistan every day.

SIGNIFICANCE OF MINAR-E-PAKISTAN

There is a historic moment behind this tall tower in Lahore. Resolution Pakistan sought a way for a separate Muslim state in India. So, did the events pave the way for Pakistan's commitment? Until the mid-1930s, Muslim leaders were working to protect the political interests of Muslims within India and to achieve maximum autonomy in the Muslim-majority provinces. Dad was born in Pakistan and this is where this Minar Pakistan is located today.

HISTORY OF MINAR-E-PAKISTAN

The Government of India Act, 1935, provided for sectarian representation through separate constituencies. When elections were held under the Act, the Indian National Congress formed governments in six of the eight provinces. During the rule of the Indian National Congress from 1937-99, it was clear that the Muslims had been abruptly reduced and the Congress leadership had completely failed to represent the Muslims. LAHORE RESOLUTION

The Lahore Resolution gave a new hope to the Muslim community in India. The struggle for an independent state gained momentum and seven years later, Pakistan came into being on 14 August 1947.

In honor of the place where the Pakistan resolution was passed, a tower was erected in Greater Iqbal Park, which laid the foundation stone of the march. 23, 1960. The construction of the tower took eight years and in 1968 this historic building was constructed in Lahore.

ARCHITECTURE OF MINAR-E-PAKISTAN

The Minar of Pakistan is not only an important milestone of Pakistan, but it is also a symbol of Islamic and Mughal architecture with modern design. The architect of the minaret was Naseer-ud-Din Murad Khan, the architect of Pakistan. It is a total of 70 meters above the ground. Its beautiful design is like a petal blossoming. The diameter of Minar Pakistan is about 9.75 meters.

Interesting story. Here, in Rosario Argentina we have Monumento a la Bandera which function and historical meaning is quite similar to the Minar of Pakistan you have described. It's like the monument which celebrates creating the new country, with it's flag and anthem and all other stuff.
