Hi Steemians,
on my last day at the intensive we had one hour to do a final project and see if we can apply the things we learned. My brochure looks pretty thrown together but that's because I was desperately trying to use all the options.
Front cover:
Basically just a picture and another picture on top with a headline. All the images I used are royalty free and were provided to us.
I decided to go with a landscape layout for my project, the text is placeholder text.
all the lessons were held on google meets and I used my I pad as a second screen, and was working on my laptop. We also had a google classroom where the teacher was able to share documents, pictures and icons we were using.
I am really not a very tech savvy person and only had an own laptop since my early twenties so this was really great for me, as normally I get disheartened learning things by myself and end up procrastinating more than doing!
I can recommend learning some graphic design skills to everyone! Once you know how to work with it you will use it more than you think!
this is where I took the course: https://www.citylit.ac.uk at the moment they are all online so have a look, maybe you like some of them!
Let me know what new skills you are working on!
