Good day all wonderful steemit members I am at my office which is the server room in a federal university. Me and my team has been working tirelessly because most students are busy writing examination so we are making sure the is steady network in the school environment so the exam will go with out interruptions.

What is a Server room?

A server room is a place/ room where the network of an institution or organisation is sitted or sourced from

Network

Networking is connecting multiple devices or system together from any distance

A Router

A router is hardware device used for receiving, analyzing and carry packets to another network

A Switch

This is a Cisco 2960 Switch

Usually connected to the Router and to other devices. It help split the network From Router to multiple devices.

A Server

A Server is a system that stores and provide resources to other devices

A Rack

A Rack houses instruments for networking like router, server and switch etc.
