INTRODUCTION
It is a pleasure to take part in this contest. Though a newcomer, I have noticed that one thing that Steemit does not joke with is their communities, everyone should at least be involved in one community hence the importance of this contest.
NAME AND THEME
One of the community that I love so much is the @steemalive community. Quoting from the founder "The inspiration behind this name is the believe among some that Steemit and the Steem blockchain is dead. There are still others that have never heard of Steemit before. So both for doubters and new people, we want to announce that Steemit is alive, active, vibrant and growing everyday." @focusnow.
There are tons of interesting contest every week. They recruit, retain and reward their members through this contest.
ADMINISTRATION AND MODERATORS
The community was founded by @focusnow, @beckie96830, @talktofaith, @iamdanny, @mesonia, @dlioness, and I must say they are doing a great job.
WHAT TYPE OF CONTEST DOES THE COMMUNITY PRESENT?
One important thing to note about @steemalive is that they present diverse topics for contest.
Their most recent contests are #thedairygame, #mytownin10pics, #bitcoinforlife to name but a few.
HOW MANY TIMES DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE COMMUNITY?
There are weekly contest that keep everyone busy with writing. Compelling Reports are a constant thing in this community from their members.
WHY IS IT MY FAVOURITE?
It is my favourite because there is never a dull moment in the community. There is always a contest that challenges you to think, with its diversity, you just don't know what they might present next.
WHAT WOULD I LIKE TO SEE PUBLISHED MORE IN THE COMMUNITY?
Right now I am more keen on the contents that they are presenting. Since I am new , I am still observing the way things work out in the community.
WHO HAVE I INTERACTED WITH IN THE COMMUNITY?
So far I have interacted with the founder @focusnow and few members @ngoenyi @brightobias
ANOTHER ASPECT I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE
It would be awesome if the founder could ask it's members their ideas of a topic for a contest and maybe vote on them. By this means,he can know the mindset of the community members, if they have any suggestions of some sort.
IF I CREATED A COMMUNITY...ON WHAT TOPIC WOULD I DO IT?
Since I am a lover of books, if I am to create a community, it will be based on reading. Where a particular book will be brought out, read and discussed by its members. This is to encourage a reading culture amongst Steemit community.
CONCLUSION
A special appreciation to the organizer of this contest @belenguerra for her support and effort in welcoming newcomers and steemit as a platform for organising this contest. I hope everyone will be part of@steemive community and get involved in their weekly contest.
