We are probably not quite familiar with this harmless, spiderlike “harvestman,” with its remarkably long, wiggly legs . From its form of the body we can easily see differences between harvestmen and spiders. The body is a simple oval, and it’s usually hard to tell where the “head” ends and the segmented “abdomen” begins. It was moving quite a lot, and made me spend some time chasing it over. Beside it has tiny form of body which made it easy to hide itself under the leaves. Harvestmen also lack silk and venom glands, and they only have two eyes. Lacking silk glands, they never build webs. They lack venom, but they emit a weird odor when disturbed. The harvestmen distributes throughout Southern Asia, characterized (albeit doubtfully) by the presence of three pseudo articular nodules in femur II, and by the absence of denticles around the base of the eye mound. Like insects, arachnids are arthropods. Insects are a class of arthropods, and arachnids are also a class within Arthropoda.
