Origin of Bengali Shon
Mughal Emperor Jalal Uddin Akbar introduced Bengali listening. In 1584, he introduced a new system of counting the year called Tarikh-e-Ilahi with the help of his astrologer, I Fateyullah Siraj, for the convenience of tax collection. At that time the prevailing royal year was the Hijri year, and it was not possible to collect taxes in the same month every year. Bengali year did not start from zero, Hijri year was 923 in the year when the Bengali year was introduced. According to the order of the emperor, the year of introduction in 1923, the journey of Bengal Son began. But the effectiveness of the Bangla Sun has been shown since 1956. Because that year was the year of Emperor Akbar's accession to the throne.

Origin of Bengali New Year
Bangla Sun originates from Bangla Sun. Bangla Calendar Reform Committee was formed in 1963 under the leadership of prominent linguist Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah under the initiative of the Bangla Academy. The committee recommended fixing Pahela Baisakh on 14th April. Later, on the recommendation of another committee called "Bangla Calendar Reform Committee", it was decided to observe April 14th as Pahela Baishakh in a meeting held in Bangla Academy in 1994. Thus 14th of April is celebrated as Pahela Baisakh every year.

Mangal Sobhayatra is a symbol of the folk tradition of the people of Bangladesh. The journey of this Varshavaran event started with Mangal Shobhayatra. Since 1995, this Ananda Shobhayatra has come to be known as Mangal Shobhayatra. Artist Emdad Hossain Mangal named the procession. Just as there are plants to welcome the Bengali Bengali New Year, small people are not left behind. They celebrate New Year every year on the 30th and 31st of Bangla Chaitra and the 1st of Baisakh. The last two days of the Bengali year and the first day of the new year are celebrated as Biju, Baisuk, Vishu, and other festivals in the country, but it is known as Baisabi in the plains. The name Vaisabi is derived from the root of three names: "Vaisuk" of Tripura, "Sangrai" of Marma, and "Biju" of Chakmad. Baisabi festival has been celebrated since 1985 as a collective initiative.
