My daughter really likes butterflies and dragonflies, so much so that she can grab them very easily. One time a butterfly got into her apartment and flew near my daughter, and she took the opportunity to grab it and play for a while.
A mi hija le gustan mucho las mariposas y libélulas, tanto así que las puede agarrar con mucha facilidad. Hace tiempo una mariposa se metió al apartamento y voló cerca de mi hija, y ella aprovechó de agarrarla y jugar un tiempo.
The truth is it's amazing how these insects look for her and how they stay so calm in her hand, it's like being close to my daughter gives them peace of mind.
La verdad es asombroso como estos insectos la buscan a ella y cómo se quedan tan tranquilos en su mano, es como que el estar cerca de mi hija les transmite tranquilidad.
It is not the first time that a butterfly remains so calm in her hands. On other occasions she has managed to catch monarch butterflies or ones that are purple, she has caught them large and small and they stay very calm in her hands.
No es la primera vez que una mariposa se queda tan tranquila en sus manos. En otras oportunidades ha logrado agarrar mariposas monarcas o unas que son de color morado, las ha agarrado grandes y pequeñas y estas se quedan muy tranquilas en sus manos.
One of the things that surprised me was seeing this butterfly's tongue. It was long and It took my daughter's hand and then rolled it up.
Una de las cosas que me sorprendió fue ver la lengua de esta mariposa. Era larga y palpaba la mano de mi hija y luego la enrollaba.
