Yesterday was the day to prune the plants in the garden of the urbanization where I live. The plants that predominate in the paths are cayenne and ficus trees. Every day when I return home after picking up my husband from work and my daughters from music school, I take the opportunity to grab cayenne flowers for the turtles. It is their favorite menu. So every day when we arrive they already know that they will have their portion of cayenne.

Todos los días cuando regreso a casa después de buscar a mi esposo del trabajo y a mis hijas de la escuela de música, aprovecho de agarrar flores de cayena para las tortugas. Es el menú favorito de ellas. Así que todos los días cuando llegamos ellas ya saben que tendrán su ración de cayena.

Yesterday when I arrived, they had pruned the plants and the gardener saved me some flowers that still had leaves and stems. Without checking much, I went up to my apartment with everything the gardener gave me and I gave it to my daughters so they could only take out the flowers. to give them to the turtles. Suddenly my little daughter screamed... and when I went over to see what was happening to her... there was an insect on one of the stems.

Ayer cuando llegué, habían podado las plantas y el jardinero me guardó algunas flores que aún tenían hojas y tallos, sin revisar mucho subí a mi apartamento con todo lo que me regaló el jardinero y se lo dí a mis hijas para que sacaran solo las flores para dárselas a las tortugas. De repente mi hija pequeña gritó... y cuando me acerco a ver que le ocurría... había un insecto en una de los tallos.

My little daughter is afraid of insects and she got very scared, then my older daughter, who loves animals and insects, told her not to be afraid because according to her it was a ladybug. It didn't really look like a ladybug to me, and because of the color I told them that they better not touch it because we didn't know what type of insect it was and it could be toxic.

Mi hija pequeña le tiene miedo a los insectos y se asustó mucho, luego mi hija mayor, que es amante de los animales e insectos le dijo que no tuviese miedo porque según ella era una mariquita. A mi en realidad no me pareció una mariquita, y por el color les dije que mejor no lo tocaran porque no sabíamos qué tiempo de insecto era y podía ser tóxico.

When taking the photographs I took the opportunity to Google what type of insect it was, but several suggestions appeared and what seemed to me to be closest was the red stink bug. I don't think it was a ladybug since ladybugs have small circular spots, but this insect had its own different spots.

Al tomar las fotografías aproveché de buscar por Google qué tipo de insecto era, pero me aparecieron varias sugerencia y lo que a mi me pareció que se acercaba más fue la chinche roja. No creo que haya sido una mariquita ya que las mariquitas tienen manchas circulares pequeñas, pero este insecto tenía sus manchas diferentes.

Then I began to detail its spots, I learned that from @michelangelo3, who once noticed in one of my publications the design of a golden ladybug that I published and he observed that the insect had like a number 3.

After observing the insect in detail, it seemed to me that its design is like a red sun with a black center on its body. I don't know if the same thing seems to you, and if anyone knows what species this insect is and if it is toxic , I would like you to let me know in the comments.
