Por qué esta planta se denomina Girasol?
Esta singular planta inicia un movimiento desde que comienza a salir el sol, de este a oeste. Este movimiento giratorio, siguiendo al sol lo realiza esta planta, hasta que cae la noche.
Es por eso que se llama ***Girasol***
Cuando vemos un girasol marchito es porque ya ha alcanzado la madurez y no puede realizar su movimiento giratorio acostumbrado.
Esta planta, además de ser hornamental, es utilizada para sacar su aceite, el cual utilizamos para nuestro consumo.
Girasoles amarillos: transmiten vitalidad, energía y felicidad, cuyas las cualidades son atribuidas al sol.
Cuando compré esta planta, tenía tres capullos sin abrir, y la puse en un sitio donde no le pega sol directo, ni mucha sombra. Luego los tres capullos abrieron muy hermosos, como se puede percibir en la fotografía.
