Hey steemit friends this is my initial post here. Being a creative is an awesome thing my journey begun in 2022. Someone reached out to me in my dm on Instagram when he saw a picture I posted of me wearing a bracelet. He requested me to advertise some bracelets which were made by him and begin to sale them on his behalf. Well I agreed and he promised to be giving me 10% from every sale I made. However after sometime I asked him to teach me how to make the bracelets. The guy accepted though he never took time to teaching me. I was so zealous to learn how to make the bracelets, so I would remind and ask him when he would teach me.
Nonetheless I noticed he was giving me excuses and was dilly-dallying. The guy developed insecurities because of the request I made. Hence I decided to start looking for tutorials on how to make bracelets on the internet.Upon searching I found a number of DIY videos on YouTube. I started learning though it was kind of tough for me because I was using sack strings. This made realize that I needed the right materials and I didn't know where to get them.
So I decided to inquire from the guy who gave me a dm on Instagram. Since I knew he had insecurities of teaching me. I inquired from him in a diplomatic way by saying my cousin was looking for some materials for necklaces , I asked him if he would know where she could find. So he went ahead and shared the information. However I had challenges to locate the place I asked around till I found the shop.
That's how my journey of being a creative started and I have learnt a lot of things my hands can do. I will be sharing more soon am happy to be part of this community.
