Raw papaya bharta (salad) with tamarind is a very popular and delicious homemade dish in almost all parts of Bangladesh. It is eaten much like a salad. A different tempting taste of sour pickle will encourage your subconscious mind to eat this dish. It's impossible for you not to have your mouth watering at the sight of this dish. This dish is eaten at family gatherings in the afternoon. It is a food that you cannot eat on a full stomach and cannot eat alone. You will need at least one other conversation partner to eat this dish. Eating papaya bharta with index finger, thumb and middle finger while talking with other partner gives a pleasant taste. And the last part ends with a lot of fun and interesting activities. Since this dish is spelled to change the taste of the mouth, the dish is make in a small amount. Because of this, it is seen that when the salad is almost finished, it is sometimes necessary to scramble to get the last part or the juice. The food is such a kind of food if you think that you will prepare a lot of food and eat it alone, you will find that after a few meals you will not have the same taste that you ate with everyone with less portions. So if you are thinking of eating this food alone, just forget it.

Now let's see how to make salad type raw papaya bharta.
Since it has to be made with papaya, it is necessary to take unripe raw papaya so that there is no bitterness in the papaya. Also, you should take ripe tamarind at least one-third of the amount of papaya you taken. Besides, you have to take three types of chilies: dry chili, raw chili, dry chili powder. These three types of chilies have different flavors and aromas which combine to give the dish another dimension. Besides, salt and coriander leaves should be given. Salt, coriander leaves also have an amount that you need to be aware of. Coriander leaves should be given sparingly and salt should be given frequently. Since tamarind is very sour, more salt should be given to reduce the sourness of tamarind. You might think that adding too much salt will make food bitter but prove you wrong. The sourness of the tamarind will continue to absorb the salt and the sourness of the tamarind will gradually become tolerable as a food. First take the raw papaya and cut it into small pieces and wash it well with water. Then in a separate bowl, mix coriander leaves, green chili, burnt dry red pepper, and powdered chilies and salt by hand. The real taste depends on this mixture. Then mix well with the mixture of raw papaya and tamarind. It will be ready to eat after rubbing it with your hands for a while.
