Beautiful nature at its finest! I'm in awe of the amazing rainbow over the Gayo Highlands - a sight I'll never forget! Yeah, I was so lucky to have a perfect moment to capture the amazing rainbow. On my way to Takengon Town, I caught the beautiful rainbow over the mountains. It’s a bit rainy, and the rainbow just so amazing, then I parked my car and took some shots of the rainbow using my smartphone.
I am so excited to find any moment of amazing nature. I have to take some pictures when I find a beautiful scene while I am driving or traveling. I often use my smartphone to capture the nature. When capturing the rainbow, I have to walk to the median of street as I need a perfect standing spot to shot. Though many vehicles are on the road, it wouldn’t decrease the beauty of the rainbow.
And yes, we could look at the pictures how the rainbow was forming a multicolored circular arc. It’s really an optical phenomenon that can occur under certain meteorological conditions. It is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in an effect similar to a spectrum of light appearing in the sky.Source
