Hello, today I wanted to share some images of medieval coins for anyone interested. I find them particularly beautiful! I'd much rather be riding a horse with leather pouch full of gold and silver coins than at my desk with crypto in a digital wallet, but that's just me. Wouldn't it be awesome if crypto could be as beautiful as these medieval coins somehow?
Here is a 14th-century "quattrino"
Here is a 7th-century Byzantine coin known as a "hexagram"
Here is a medieval florin from Florence
A French ecu
A ducat from Venice
What do you think of these coins? I believe the idea behind crypto is just as beautiful as these physical items, but which one is safer to own as an investment? If you want to see more, check out this list of medieval coins here: https://timothyrjeveland.com/list-of-medieval-coins/
