Cana product and bamboo product are very popular in eastern and northeastern India. Today I will show you some items made of bamboo and cana used by Manipuries.

●Petera &Pedi●

It is mainly made of Bamboo. It is used to preserve pedi for a long time and to protect it from insects.

◆Rice Drum & Khave◆

Rice Drum is made of bamboo. It is usually used for storing paddy.
Khaba is also made of bamboo.this beaket is used for collecting the crops.

●Dhama & Changari●

It mainly made of bamboo. But sometimes it made of cane. It is commonly used for storing and sifting rice.

◆Chalon◆

Chalon is made of bamboo. It is mainly used for storing and sifting rice .

●Cheng kolos & Fish catcher●

It is mainly made of bamboo. After fishing the the fish are usually kept inside.
Fish catch Busket are used for keeping small fishes.

◆Fishing Gear◆

Fishing gear is usually made of bamboo so that it can stay well under water for a long time. These are commonly used for fishing.

●Fishing Basket●

Fishing basket is made of bamboo. It is commonly used for keeping fish and cleaning fish.

◆Paddy &Grass collector◆

It is mainly made of bamboo but sometimes made of cane. It is used for collecting paddy and collecting grass.

●wooden item●

It is mainly made of wood. And this item is used for granding.

◆Vase made of Cane◆

It is used for storing Flowers after picking. Sometimes the Vase are made of Bamboo.
