In our daily lives, we don’t often think about the vital role water plays. For most of us, it’s such an ordinary substance that we take it for granted, not realizing that even now, there are many places in the world where water is scarce. Have you ever thought about the fact that without water, we wouldn’t even exist?
I don’t just mean that we need it to survive—without water, we wouldn’t have been born at all. We originate from it, and we are mostly made of it. Water flows through our lives in many forms: dew drops on grass, clouds, icicles hanging from rooftops, hot steam rising from a kettle, mist stretching across a meadow.
What will happen when it runs out? Will it mean the end for us?
