Hello everyone, Henrique here again. Today, I want to share with you how I overcame the fear of putting myself out there and selling myself, and how you can improve on this in the future.
I come from a hardworking family, without great privileges or opportunities. My first job was in a fast food chain, and over time, I progressed. In the beginning, my confidence was low, but it gradually increased. With increased confidence, something that many don't discuss is self-image. What we believe about ourselves reflects on the outside.
I read many books, took courses, and invested in improving my knowledge about the world, money, communication, and people. This significantly boosted my results, not only financially but also in relationships and connections. I met people from different levels and backgrounds.
What I learned and want to share is that you can't go from point A to point Z all at once. Small steps build greater and better confidence, just as it happened with me. Over time, I started to expose myself more, to sell myself better, and not to accept certain work values and types of relationships. The more you elevate yourself, the more value you generate for yourself and others around you.
You need to learn how to sell yourself, but also to keep adding knowledge and experience. College is not the only way to learn. Books, travel, experiences, time alone, observation, movies—everything can teach you something. Sitting in a park observing people can bring insights.
To sell your image in the future, become a perpetual learning machine. Accumulate knowledge, and one day you'll know it's time to give back. When you feel that urge, don't stop. Share your message and improve the lives of others.
Thanks for your attention. See you next time!
