Growing up horror movies makes me sleepless or makes me have night mares. This is why I don't like it. Thank you for hosting this contest @philhughes

The Pope's Exorcist is a horror movie but guess what? It kept me glued to my screen.
The movie started with scene where the priest father Amorth visited a home where a boy was possessed with an evil spirit. Not sure if it was an evil spirit father asked if they had consulted any doctor since the boy got ill, he also asked them for the signs the boy exhibits.

The response was that the boy now speaks English without been taught. Meaning he has never spoken English before. Seriously this part shocked me. The priest went to the boy and had a conversation with him. I didn't even know the priest had plans.
The priest didn't need to cast out the demon because the demon left on its own but how? The father deceived the demon telling him that if he knows he can possess anything he should enter into a pig brought into the room. Immediately the demon entered the pig, it was short dead. And the boy was freed.

Next seen shown was a family comprising of mother and two kids who just moved from America to Spain. The moved into their old house that has been abandoned for many years.
She has just lost her husband and his death affected her son because since then, he could no longer talk. The plan was to renovate the house. At their arrival to the house, this woman's daughter was welcomed with strange sounds and movements of strange things as she brushed her teeth.
A contractor got burnt by fire in a particular part of the house, a demon living in the house made it happen. So the engineer in charge of the house pulled out from working and also pull out all his contractors. Almost immediately they realized that this woman's son Henry has been possessed by this demon. And suddenly he starts talking after been mute for 1 year.

Not only that he talks, he passes out strong threats to his mum and sister. Saying they will all die. Henry is taking to the hospital for checkups and the results says he is doing perfectly fine. His mum could not believe the results and she tries to explain to the doctors that her son was convulsing and acting strangely.

She is left frustrated, confused and not knowing what to do she seeks help elsewhere. Now the demon inside the son requested for father Amorth after a priest tried to pray for Henry. After so much fight, father Amorth was sent to help her. He is willing to help this family knowing their story.

Father Amorth succeeded in dealing with the demon with the help of a younger priest. They both walked together but this demon is stronger than any other one he has ever encountered.
The strategy the father uses to deal with these demons is incredibly.

Another part that scared me was the part where the demon possessed the father leaving the young boy Henry. It was scary for me.
Yes I still get scared watching this movie but not as the very first time I saw the movie. I think as time goes on I may stop been scared.

Horror movie is always scary, I can remember the last time i watched one horror movie like that, I couldn't go to my room to pickup my phone because it was dark. This movie, hmmmm, I'll try to watch it, though the cover picture alone can scare someone away. Keep on with your movie publications.
