I'm currently putting together a big list of the community's I think folks should know about, and came across yours :-)
You can cross-post other peoples' posts, and some are arguing that it is "proper" to do so almost exclusively. If you cross-post your own, you get 95% and the community you're post it to gets 5%. If you cross-post someone else's, the author gets 90%, you get 5%, and the community gets 5%.
I think different communities will just have different rules about what it's "OK" to cross-post.
Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
