But studies have shown that processed food causes various health problems and I believe explains the increasing cases of cancer. Certainly, not all chemicals are bad, there are good ones too but how to literate ourselves about bad ones?
I'm also concerned about "chemistry" in skincare. The beauty market discourages homemade remedies and promotes chemical solutions (serums). Niacin and Retinols are the buzz words in the industry. Are they safe? I'm astonished to find out high amount of mercury in Pakistani beauty products which is carcinogenic, right?
Organic is the new trend too. What the hell is organic - "chemical free" or "good chemcials only"? I can recall studying organic chemistry in high school. 😆
