Доброго ранку, шановна спільното!
Черговий день приніс мені з ранку трохи ендорфінів - в мого першого тому зʼявилася нова бета, і вона ну дуже прикольна, і це велика радість, бо я вже перлася в стелю своїх можливостей з редагуванням, і вона в мене наче свіжий ковток повітря. Тепер буду одночасно редагувати перший том і писати другий. Доречі вчора я зрозуміла, що це треба було зробити вже давно. Не треба було сидіти і мучити себе редагуванням першого тому до останнього, треба було брати і одразу починати писати другий, одночасно редагуючи перший, бо поки пишеш другий, він сам показує, де першому бо-бо. Реально. Пишеш-пишеш, і тут бах, вилізає десь обвал логіки першого тому.
Тож зараз дуже прикольне відчуття, коли другий том сам підказує, що треба виправити в першому. І ще є одна дуже прикольна штука. Я взагалі читала, що такого не має бути, але в мене є. Читала, що у письменника все має бути сплановано, і що коли персонажі щось вимочують, або у сюжеті трапляється щось несподіване - це вже шила. Але в мене реально трапляється! Буквально вчора сиджу, нікого не чіпаю, пишу свій текст. І тут спрацьовують правила світу, відповідно до них спрацьовують навіть не головні, а епізодичні персонажі і... Мої основні персонажі раптом опиняються у ситуації, яку я взагалі не планувала! Капець))
І от сиджу я за ноутбуком, надрукувала все це, і сиджу у шоці. Я реально взагалі не планувала такого розвитку подій! А він трапився! І я дійсно в шоці, бо як це так, і що мені тепер з ним робити. Ось, сьогодні буду думати, як з цієї ситуації тепер викручуватись. Ось такі справи.
І майже те саме інколи трапляється в діалогах між персонажами. Розмовляють собі, і тут хтось видає таке, чого я геть не очікувала, і вже я як автор маю якось на це реагувати. Капець))
Отже, зараз роблю каву і повертаюся до своїх несподіванок:)

Another day brought me some endorphins in the morning - a new beta appeared in my first volume, and it's really cool, and it's a great joy, because I was already pushing the ceiling of my editing capabilities, and it's like a breath of fresh air for me. Now I'll be editing the first volume at the same time and writing the second. By the way, yesterday I realized that this should have been done a long time ago. I shouldn't have sat and tortured myself editing the first volume to the last, I should have taken it and immediately started writing the second, while editing the first, because while you're writing the second, it shows you where the first one is. It's real. You write and write, and then bang, the collapse of the logic of the first volume comes out somewhere.
So now it's a really cool feeling when the second volume itself suggests what needs to be fixed in the first. And there's another really cool thing. I've read that this shouldn't happen, but I do. I've read that a writer should have everything planned out, and that when the characters blurt something out, or something unexpected happens in the plot - it's already a mess. But it really happens to me! Just yesterday I was sitting, not touching anyone, writing my text. And then the rules of the world come into play, and not even the main characters, but the episodic characters, act according to them and... My main characters suddenly find themselves in a situation that I didn't plan at all! Kapets))
And here I am sitting at my laptop, typing all this, and sitting in shock. I really didn't plan for this development of events at all! And it happened! And I'm really in shock, because how is this so, and what should I do with it now. So, today I'll think about how to get out of this situation now. These are the things.
And almost the same thing sometimes happens in dialogues between characters. They talk to themselves, and then someone says something that I didn't expect at all, and I, as the author, have to somehow react to it. Kapets))
