Письменницькі нотатки - редагування — Writer's notes - editing

Доброго ранку, шановна спільното!

Що можу сказати про новий тиждень? Можу сказати, що розпочинаю редагування першої чернетки:) Наш пан Golden-rain трошки покритикував мене за те, що я не розповідаю про саму книгу, про її сюжет та таке інше, але наразі я просто ще не готова це робити, і можу трошки розповісти в цьому дописі, чому саме;)

По-перше в мого мозку є така штука, що коли я щось сказала вголос, то він за це ставить галочку, як за виконане завдання. Точно знаю, що це не тільки мене таке. Тому я намагаюся менше говорити, і більше робити. Це забезпечує мені вищу продуктивність. Я краще скажу поменше, зроблю побільше, а потім вже розповім про те, що зробила. Але це маленька причина, є більші.

По-друге мій сюжет зараз ще дуже динамічний. Є основна ідея, яку я звісно можу розповісти, але решта сюжетних поворотів всі в динаміці. Я зрозуміла одну дуже важливу штуку зараз, коли дала книгу на вичитку бета рідерам:

Спочатку я на натхненні писала книгу вперед, від початку до кінця. А тепер враховуючи правки від бет мені потрібно переписати її назад, від кінця до початку, створюючи логічні передумови для подій в кінці на початку. Сподіваюся зрозуміло, що я маю на увазі. Це для мене стало відкриттям, і досить вагомим відкриттям, дуже цінним. Цікаво, як я з цим впораюся.

Тож зараз я перш ніж розповідати про книгу хочу пройти ще й цей етап, етап логічного редагування. Хочу спочатку бодай спекти цей пиріжок, перш ніж дати його понюхати, щоб він мав запах не сирого тіста, а вже якоїсь випічки.

А потім на мене чекає ще літературне редагування, збагачення мови твору. Бо на початку я пишу майже тезово, пишу сам сюжет, створюю саме його. А потім треба буде його збагатити. Звісно, якщо мені приходять якісь влучні метафори дорогою я їх записую, але здебільшого цей процес я залишаю на потім.

Ось такі справи. Тож про книгу я розповім, але до цього мені ще треба підготуватись:)

Good morning, dear community!

What can I say about the new week? I can say that I am starting to edit the first draft:) Our Mr. Golden-rain criticized me a little for not talking about the book itself, its plot and so on, but right now I am simply not ready to do it, and I can tell a little about why in this post;)

First of all, there is a thing in my brain that when I say something out loud, it puts a check mark for it as a completed task. I know for sure that it is not just me. Therefore, I try to talk less and do more. This provides me with higher productivity. I'd rather say less, do more, and then tell you what I did. But this is a small reason, there are bigger ones.

Secondly, my plot is still very dynamic right now. There is a main idea that I can of course tell, but the rest of the plot twists are all in dynamics. I realized one very important thing now, when I gave the book to beta readers for proofreading:

At first, I wrote the book forward, from beginning to end, on inspiration. And now, taking into account the edits from the beta, I need to rewrite it backwards, from end to beginning, creating logical prerequisites for the events at the end at the beginning. I hope it's clear what I mean. This was a discovery for me, and a rather significant discovery, very valuable. I wonder how I will cope with it.

So now, before talking about the book, I want to go through this stage, the stage of logical editing. I want to at least bake this pie first, before letting it smell, so that it does not smell like raw dough, but like some kind of pastry.

And then I have literary editing waiting for me, enriching the language of the work. Because at the beginning I write almost in thesis, I write the plot myself, I create it. And then I will have to enrich it. Of course, if I come up with some apt metaphors along the way, I write them down, but for the most part I leave this process for later.

Here are the things. So I will talk about the book, but I still need to prepare for that:)
