Stomach ulcers are painful sores or irritations that is found in the lining of the stomach. This sores are caused by various factors. Both natural and synthetic factors.
The first cause of stomach ulcer is stress which releases too much stomach acid to the stomach than the normal level. Although this stomach acid is useful by helping in digesting proteins and also kills harmful bacteria in the gut. But excess of this acid causes a reflux . There by ravaging the stomach walls.
Second cause of ulcer is use of some sort of painkillers and pain relief drug such as ibuprofen,etc . These drugs has some effect on the stomach lining.
The last and most dangerous cause of stomach ulcer is a bacterial called Helicopter pylori a gram negative bacterial that compete with the useful probiotic bacterial in the gut. H. Pylori is generally spread through direct contact with infected person, object, or foods.
Note that smoking and excessive intake of alcohol can lead to ulcer and lead to stomach cancer. Smokers are liable to die Young . Beware.
Let's look at the cure for ulcer that worked for me. I have suffered ulcer for so many years. And I know how it feels. The pains radiated by ulcers make you feel as if you are gone.😥. But let's thank God for the opportunity he gave me to find a you tube video that gave me a solution for my ulcers.
This solution combines both, drugs, exercise, lifestyle changes, and avoidance of some foods that triggers the stomach acids.
The first solution is that I used a simple drug called Jerusil . It is a multi purpose drug for wide range of stomach upset. It helps to heal the wounds or sores in the stomach. It is a solid form of antacids.
The second solution is chewing your food well. About 80% of digestion happens in the mouth. The rest is completed in the stomach and intestines. So chewing your food properly will help the stomach by reducing the amount of work done by stomach in churning the food.
The food entering the stomach has to be in liquid form so as to help in the smooth peristalsis movement in the stomach. Chewing food well also helps to extract some important nutrients locked in some solid foods. This nutrients is beneficial to the gut.
Another solution is to always take your shower when you return from work before taking your meals. This is helpful because digestion needs a lower temperature. Taking shower especially during hot weather will lower the body temperature, thereby aiding digestion.
Don't rush your meal. I know the food is delicious. But eating slowly will make you get the most out of the food. Rushing food will increase the level of stomach acid release. So take your food slowly and chew for up to 30seconds before swallowing.
Another solution that help me is greenish vegetables like cucumber, cabbage, pumpkin, spinach etc taking this foods is helpful in healing the gut.
There is this method that helped me. It is called Intermittent fasting. This is a type of fasting where by one stops eating for some ours deliberately. The person only drinks water, or lemon juice during this period of starvation. This method helps to the body to heal itself without any medical aid. This method also helps to heal the pancreas,liver and kidneys. So many types of stomach problem including ulcer are linked to the problem with the pancreas. If the pancreas is healthy then you are assured of healthy gut.
So intermittent fasting helps the body to regenerate it's self .
Other methods that helped me is regular exercise such as running, yoga, mindfulness meditation, sound therapy, naturopathic method, organic medicinal plants, Tapping therapy etc.
