Pawpaw and it's nutrition and health benefits

Pawpaw is a tropical plant popularly grown in the north central Africa and the middle belt, it's botanical name is carica papya . It is a succulent freshly plant that grows apically to the sky .it is also a di-cotyledonous plant classified as drupe , it has a tap root system with a bulbous nodes which facilitate water conservation, this makes pawpaw to be able to adapt to 🏜️ desert or arid condition. Pawpaw is a kind of fruit, that is consumed by many household,it is a source of vitamin,minerals,water and some important Amino acids such as cystine ,L-glutamic acid, pawpaw can grow up to length of between 6ft to 18 ft long . We also have new hybrid of pawpaw which is dwarf about 3ft tall it will start being fruitful

Paw paw is a gametophyte plant meaning that it is a dieciuos having separate make and female plant , the male plants has a unique features it produces the male sex cell known as pollen grain . which is a granulous organ. The female pawpaw plant produces the flowers bearing the ovary with a long tube stigma.pawpaw undergo 'pollination' which is the transfer of pollen grain from the anther to the stigma of the plant ,after pollination fertilization takes place where by there is a union between male and female sex cell of pawpaw. Pawpaw fruit is greenish in color, while the riped one is yellow in color.
Paw paw has a leaf which is also green and later yellow - dry when it dries.

The nutritional content of pawpaw cannot be overemphasized,.it has many nutrients that is embedded in it most especially vitamin c or ascorbic acid, vitamin e, vitamin B12,B6,B3, vitamin k, etc. Pawpaw also contain proteins and essential Amino acids, essential oils are also found in pawpaw .unripe pawpaw contains compound such as; pectin,phenols, tannins,Amino acids and important minerals and cofactors,this makes it to be used in curing of certain infectious diseases such as malaria, typhoid,ulcer, treatment etc. Fermented pawpaw is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome of the stomach.
