The flag may bellow to the rhythm of war and see the flames of bricks and walls. The flag might have heard the song of sorrow and the sound of turbulence. The flag might have been stained with the blood of her children and used as a covering for the bodies of able-bodied men. Yet the Ukraine flag will fly high even in the midst of obscurity. It will fly high above the reach of her enemies and trample upon all her foes. Never will the strength of Ukraine be torn apart nor her glory relinquished to another. Ukraine will rein for life!
The drum of war will become the melody of joy, and the tears of war will become the tears of joy. Ukraine will yet give milk to nations and provide them shelters. She will rebuild her fallen walls and re-dig her wells of wealth and abundance. The peace that was in her will be restored and the jingle of gunshots will seize. Her beauty will break forth like the early morning sun. She will radiate like a new bride. Out of her ruins will come magnificent buildings for tourists attraction and her fallow land will bring forth food and fruits. The anthem will be sung with courage, pride and honor, and the feet of intruders will be far away from Ukraine’s border. Everyone will be at peace and live in peace. Ukraine will rein for life!
