After we performed the tarawih prayer, some of our friends and I decided not to go straight home, but we decided to continue our evening activities by walking around the city, because we had curiosity about the city after the tarawih prayer.
Of course in the month of fasting, the state of the city at night will be slightly different from the month outside of fasting. Because if it is not outside the fasting month, night activities are carried out after maghrib prayers, but during the fasting month night activities are carried out after tarawih prayers.
So, when the tarawih prayer takes place all night activities stop. So when we pray tarawih we will find the city in a state of calm. In fact, many selling places have their lights turned off and after returning from Tarawih prayers the lights in their selling places are turned on again.
Of course, after the midday prayer, more visitors will come to the city, even more than during the month outside of fasting. The crowd was very dense, as they would generally wait for dawn. While waiting for dawn, they spend a lot of time outside the house to meet the crowds of the city.
The vendors are also trying hard, because at this time they are getting a lot of visitors to their food stalls. Of course this is the thing they love the most and always will be. This is one of the blessings of the fasting month.
