Giant Chinese Amaranth

Yesterday I was in my parents' village and I saw so many amaranth plant. This plant is used it's leaves as vegetable. We can cook it as soup. But it is can be fried too. I like the fried one.

Many people think it is spinach. They are wrong, because it is not spinach. It is amaranth, chinese amaranth. In my Indonesian language, it is called "bayam".
