Hi everyone!
This is the 19th part of my series of short writings about uncommon sea creatures. Today I would like to talk about the Blue Sea Dragon or Glaucus Atlanticus is a more specific name.
These strange creatures are found in the tropical and temperate seas around the world. The Blue Sea Dragon grows up to 1.2 inches long but sometimes they can devour the prey their size. The lifespan of these creatures is one or two years time period.
The Blue Dragon usually lives in colonies which are also called the blue fleet. They have a powerful venomous sting and these beautiful strange creatures are not fit for being pets because their foods are not available even in the stores.
It has been seen that the blue sea dragons are migrating their locations to warming water temperature areas. So, it can be said that global warming is affecting them and it is also unclear whether they are rare type species or not.
Thanks for reading my post. Hope that you have learned something new. If you have ever seen this sea fascinating creature then comment below and let me know about it.😀
Best regards
