Hi Friends

my pleasure to participate in another contest organised by Steemit Health Community, this contest is a beautiful contest that will help us to know more about how we will take care of our mental health and I hope we are going to learn from each other.

What do you know about mental health?

Mental health is the ability to cope with stress of life and enjoy the good things of life. Individual with Mental health will be able to achieve his or her aim, our mental health help us to set our target goal in the process to achieve them. Individual with mental health will be able to participate in social life gathering and our mental health affect how individuals think, feel and act in a positive way.

Mental health is very important to our daily life especially from the childhood, to the young age and finally to the old age.

What causes mental health disorders?

Some of the major things that cause mental disorder include the followings:

• Environmental Factors
• Genetic or heredity Factors
• Psychological Factors

√ Environmental Factors: Environmental factors can cause mental disorder, this occurs when individual experience some difficulty in his or her community. This can happen as a result of changing job, divorce and death of love one. All this can affect a person not be able to cope with his or her life. Peer pressure is another things that can cause mental illness, individual who relate with bad gangs may likely to abuse drugs that will affect their brain.

√ Genetic or heredity Factors: Research stated that individual who have family with mental illness may likely to have mental illness. This may happen when the things passed on through the genes.

√ Psychological Factors: This can also contribute to mental illness, individual who have poor ability to interact with others may likely to develop mental illness because he may feel lonely and some bad thought may come to his or her mind and this may trigger the situation. An individual whose family neglected him or her may experience mental illness because it may think that are family does not take care of him or her when he need them.

And how do you manage your mental health?

I manage my mental health by performing the following:

• Regular exercise: Every weekend I would jog around my street, because that is when I get time. I don't joke with my health I monitor it from time to time, I do this to help my mind and body fit.

• I eat good food that contain nutrition so that it will help my brain to free from infection and others brain injury.

• I usually relate with my family because I don't joke with them seeing them make me happy, sometime we just go out to catch fun with them and others family friends.

• Sometimes I use to read newspaper or magazine in order to help my mind free from negative think and after that I will sleep for a while so that my mind will be relax.

In conclusion, our mental health is very important to us, because it will help us to move on in life and do whatever we want to do in a positive way. I invite @ebeke, @abu70 and @mukka to join me in this contest.
