I welcome you all to my blog, this is my first publication in this community and I would be participating in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 8 Week 1 in this great challenge I hope to be outstanding in my post too. Enjoy my entry, as I would be starting now.

What do you consider to be the main lesson you learned from the pandemic

The pandemic enlightened me, opening me up to a new phase of my life as regards prioritizing the digital world and exploring the beauty of the internet. I learnt a lot of lessons from the pandemic in actual reality.

Moreso, I realised that digital marketing and online sales on various certified platforms can feed and satisfy an individual bring success to your doorstep and making you achieve financial freedom. I learnt how to order some products and most times food from various vendors and online stores and got all the delivery from the comfort of my home.

Additionally,I made sales of commercial products I had then, I worked with various dispatch riders who delivered my products to various destinations and also had to ship some of my products too through shipment and drop shipping services. There was a quick conversion from physical marketing to the online marketing strategy by me. These are highlights of what I learnt from the pandemic

Do you have any loss of family, friend because of the pandemic? Can you tell us about it.

It is really disheartening to discus this at this point. It saddens me too. I lost a precious relative of mine to the pandemic. It was a painful one I must tell you. I had an Uncle residing in China , he was a business man who was in charge of Importing, exporting foot wears and clothing vendor. His name was Mr. Kingsley of blessed memories.

However as the pandemic struck, he had to travel from China back to Nigeria, but he delayed his travel papers by a week. He came back a week later show traces of slight Illness, but we were carried away and threw him a party celebrating his return. He had a little cough flu.

Furthermore, this little cough escalated showing signs of wheezing and shortness of breath. It slowly worsened as the day went by. He was loosing it too, he went for test at a medical centre and was immediately quarantined, we could only see him once daily, this grew was as we could only talk to him against a glass demarcation. He was slowly dying. When he finally died, his body was not given to us. He was maimed and burnt to ashes, that was a very traumatic experience I must say courtesy the pandemic. A once healthy man was being burnt like a thief, such a mighty controversy.

What was the most difficult moments during the pandemic

Personally, I must say that the most difficult moments during the pandemic was how scarce it was to satisfy myself as regards feeding. I am a contracted vegetarian and I loved natural sources of veggies basically at the market places. This was denied from me as I had to resort to buying food from a shopping mall around my residence. This was so worrisome as I had to settle for food I never wanted, making me to loose weight and quite unhappy.

Additionally, I reported to Noddles, pasta and canned food at that time with little access to veggies and special natural herbs which I used to make special soups. This was my basic challenge, feeding to my taste. I had to therefore adjust my dieting to contain the pandemic too. I lost some pounds of flesh and I guess It taught me that the special freedom of access to food is very crucial.

After all that process do you value your health more?

Since surviving the pandemic my health has turned my top most priority, as I do not play with my health no more. I take exercises so specially on a daily basis to burn calories of fat and dissolve all forms of cholesterols and other toxic substances coursing in my system. I make exercises part of my daily schedule now.

Moreso, my water therapy has become has become a routine, my doctor prescribed water therapy as a tool to fighting illnesses, therefore I took it up taking about 1 litre of water every morning before any other activities. This helped me so much as I saw massive improvement in my health and otherwise.

Additionally, I got the singular honor of enjoying my veggies freely as appetizers in food, the main meal and desserts too. Fruits and vegetables provide strength it fight diseases and help boost the immune system. I was told by my family doctor that this is the life hack to living a good old age.

I want to use this medium to advice too against drinking bottled water either left in a hot car for hours and consumed later, or food in plastic containers that are warmed they are traced to have effect of causing dangerous cancer traits in the system too. I was told by my doctor that it had dangerous dioxins that would destroy the body system with time.

Did the pandemic impact your finances positively or negatively? How did you cope?

The pandemic of a surety affected my fiance's negatively, I had to spend more and also paid a programmer, to build my online store where I sell my products now internationally. It took me time and funds to build my network and my online market space, I bought courses to enable me learn digital marketing skills properly. I also had to get a dispatch riders for domestic sales around the residence.

I also got drop shipping courses too to sell most of my products outside my country and to be frank to set up my online reputation took so much money and I must say it was a a big sacrifice. To that effect, it inspected negatively on my finance, but today I am gradually getting back to the peak I once was before the whole pandemic saga.

It's crucial to share this with us too that my marketing audience where mostly not computer literates with little understanding of the internet, you know how hard it can be in a developing country....smiles. That was a major set back too. I had to cop so hard by putting in more efforts too. Frankly, it affected my finance negatively.

Conclusion

I had to be tough to withstand the tides of pandemic, it really taught me a whole lot of lessons about online sales and digital marketing strategy, with basic alternatives to making ends meet. I appreciate the singular privilege of publishing in this Greta community.

Well said dear friend #steem-on

The pandemic enlightened me, opening me up to a new phase of my life as regards prioritizing the digital world and exploring the beauty of the internet.

During the pandemic, the usage of the internet rose above expectations as more technologies were launched, and Zoom meetings were what the Nigerian government was using for meetings.

Sorry for the loss of your relative, brother. Indeed, the pandemic really affected the world at large. I wish you the best of luck.

Thank you once again for such expert replies, you really studied my post and I would look forward to making more professional entries in the coming days ahead I love steemit!! #steem-on

It's really inspirational for me to say that you learn something unique than others. Yes you are right that at that time all things were online and we are not going outside and everyone was buying everything online because there was a panic at that time to not get the virus. For that reason the online shopping goes on its peak at that time and it was opportunity for all of them who likes to shop and who likes to work online.

Alas it's very disappointing from your side that you lost your dear one and a precious life that was very valuable for you. Your finance is affected negatively just like me. I also work online as well as I am a businessman so for that reason still it's very unfortunate to say that I am not stable in my business and I am trying my hardwork.

Soon I will be independent and will be stable I wish you best of luck.

Thank you so much fo such a great comments too. I do believe your business online would get better, just buy digital related courses and read finance books too. It an honor to have you. #steem-on
